For many, soy is considered a great alternative to meat products but studies have proven that people should stay far away from soy products.
Several studies have shown that estrogen-like compounds in soy makes the body out of imbalanced. In result, this process has been shown to ‘turns on’ genes in women that cause cancer to grow in the breast.
Also, other studies have found that certain chemicals used in the process of making soy products was shown to double cancer risk.
A few year ago, the World Health Organization published information that processed meat causes cancer in the body. According to their study, eating just 50 grams of processed meat daily, which is equivalent to one hot dog, increases a person’s risk of colon cancer by 18%.
The research was conducted by 22 experts from 10 countries who reviewed more than 800 studies.
Processed meat includes items like ham, bacon hot dogs, sausages other meats that have been modified to improve taste or alter shelf life.
